MATCH DAY EVALUATION/FEEDBACK - A PLAYER'S VIEW

JONNY BROWN - FC RANGERS [25 Nov @ 7:21pm]

This was not a good match for The Clarets. From my sideline seat I witnessed a lot of panic kicking. Many kicks were wild and did not connect with the ball. For most of the match we were not looking up, connecting with the ball or talking. We certainly did not put any training into practice today. It was more like we had forgotten everything. We only had one possible chance of scoring and that came 10 minutes into the second half with a lovely cross from Andy G, but it wasn’t to be. We had 2 substitutes of which only 1 was used on the day. Thanks Jonny good and honest view.

WARTON AWAY 24/10/10 [25 Oct @ 2:23pm]

A good game, at last our passing confidence was back. We played some good football to win 9 - 1. I think the defence could have stopped that goal they scored. We were slow to the ball, so in training we need to work on being first to every ball and some players need to work on strength. Our acceleration in going forward quickly is something we need to work on changing defence into attack much quicker. Also when one of us is on the ball a teamate must come and help me, coz on some occasions i got isolated. Our first touch including mine was not the best today. Players who done really well were: Nathan "Bull" Bullen Nathan "Miniman" Kirk Tyler Davies Clarke Brandon done well at left back.
